(25th/26th January 2018) Two days meeting dedicated on updating Project next phases and Pilots work plans hosted by Hellenic Clothing Industry Association and Creative Thinking Development.
Meeting works opened on the first day with the presentation of Wave platform, an interesting tool managed and developed by Consorzio Arca, to foster open innovation processes with the goal to establish a dynamic space of collaboration inspired by the open innovation philosophy and where the need and the offer of skills, ideas and creativity can match. Wave platform will be made available soon and ready to welcome projects and creatives, companies and professionals interested in working together.
After a short presentation of each partners, updating Pilot activities on Testing phase, the meeting focused on next Transferring phase that will allow to consolidate the results each Pilots activities into a transferrable model and within the project’s lifetime, trying to extend that model to at least 3 additional CreativeWear new Hubs.
The meeting was followed by a series events organised by the ART HUB on the framework of the Athens Trade Show, a major sectoral event in Greece for the Textiles and Clothing sector. In particular, throughout the 3 days, more than 132 individuals visited the space allocated to the CreativeWear project and had the opportunity to discuss with the representatives of the Athens Hub as well as with the contest participants about their work and their future development ideas. Moreover, three specific events were also organized during the 3 days of the Show:
1. On Friday 26/1/2018 – Presentation of the CreativeWear project with the participation of all five hubs of the project. During this event, each partner presented the concept and services that the Hubs present, followed by the presentations of the ideas of some of the ideas that the competition participants have presented. The event was attended by 41 individuals
2. On Saturday 27/1/2018 – Workshop of printing, where the 54 participants had the opportunity to learn about new technologies enabling the printing on textiles.
3. On Sunday 28/1/2018 – Workshop on fashion was attended by 32 individuals. During this parallel event, participants had the opportunity to listen to presentations on Fashion Trends, Fashion Revolution’s activities, Virtual Reality in fashion, as well as an innovative idea on elevating the trust in the art world.
