The idea is to define real investment projects to support innovation, technology transfer, education and training.
On February 27th in Bruxelles, will be held RegioTex 2019.
Coordinated by Euratex, Creativewear partner from Belgium, the meeting is structured in a series of interactive workshops during which the RegioTex stakeholders from the participating regions work out the details of “interregional investment projects” to be financed using an expected new EU structural funds instrument called Interreg Component 5, which should become available after 2020.
4 strategic areas have been defined to identify possible project ideas
- Sustainatbility & circular economy
- Digitalisation & industry 4.0
- Technical & smart textiles
- Design and creativity-based innovation
CreativeWear hub concept could represent an interesting project idea for the 4th strategic area.
The idea is to define real investment projects in which private sector stakeholders and regional public authorities co-invest in infrastructures and programmes to support innovation, technology transfer, education and training. Typical examples include technology & training centres, demo/pilot plants, fab or maker labs etc.
